The Characters

 

Bram Stoker's horror gothic novel give us many different points of view and give the reader a chance to really connect to the many of the fictional characters. Readers will also feel a strong bond with not only personal character's but what we like to call the gang. Here are a few of the character’s bio.

Count Dracula

Expertise: Professional pain reliever

Count Dracula is the main antagonist of Bram Stoker horror novel Dracula. Some of the character's traits are believed to have been inspired by the 15th-century Romanian general Vlad III the Impaler, who was also known as Dracula. Other character aspects have been altered in following popular fictional media. Count Dracula is been undead for centuries and now he finally meats a Superior challenge.

Van Helsing

Expertise: Vampire bounty hunter and is really smart

Professor Abraham Van Helsing is an old Dutch doctor who in the book helps save many life and is mostly known throughout the book as the "know it all". He is know to have adaptations as a vampire/supernatural bounty hunter. He is also know for being the archenemy of Count Dracula.

Dr.John Seward

Expertise: Doctor of the Lunatic Asylum

Dr. John "Jack" Seward, is the supervisor of the Lunatic Asylum not far from Count Dracula's first home (in London)Throughout the novel, Seward conducts interviews with one of his patients, Mr. Rienfield, in order to understand better the nature of life-consuming psychosis. Numerous chapters of the novel involve Seward's phonograph recordings. Dr. Seward gives the reader a chance to gain a scientific understanding of vampirism and an overall understanding of Rienfield. He is always there to question things when the reader is confused.

Jonathan Harker

Solicitor, Lawyer

 Jonathan Harker's voyage starts of the book with one of the most exiting scene in castle Dracula. His journey to Transylvania and encounter with the vampire Count Dracula founds the dramatic initiating scenes in the novel. He known for his loyalty and braveness.
